TIDAL CROSSFIT ON

Tidal’s programming is now accessible anytime, anywhere! Tidal’s programming is now accessible anytime, anywhere! All Tidal Members have access to our General CrossFit Program, as well as the option to purchase our specialized "Focus" program that includes gymnastics, endurance and weightlifting programming for only $20 USD per month.

Our Story

Tidal CrossFit opened in October, 2010 at a small location in the east end of Toronto on Lucy Avenue. In what seems like a very quick five years, we've refined our methodology, improved our coaching, and expanded into more specialized programs. By focusing on individual development, foundational strength, and proper movement, Tidal has become a home for crossfitters who are looking to improve their fitness without sacrificing technique. We joke that we "set the bar high" in reference both to our preferred back squat position and to our belief that by holding ourselves to the highest standards, we'll be both better and healthier CrossFitters.

Since then, Tidal has grown to four locations (two in Toronto, one in Burlington and one in Newmarket) and over 250 members. In addition to a CrossFit program, Tidal is proudly represented competively by our Team Tidal athletes. Although we've moved on from Lucy (though that place will forever be in our hearts), we are so proud of the community that we've built. We sweat together, we laugh together, and we encourage each other. That's what it is all about.

Burlington offers the following:

CrossFit, defined as “constantly varied, functional movements done at high intensity”, is a program designed for anyone looking to improve their general health or increase strength. By integrating gymnastics, weightlifting, endurance exercises and mobility, you will see constant improvement and will never get bored!

The Olympic lifts are technical movements, which when done right, are extremely beneficial for increasing strength, power and mobility. This program is designed to teach efficiency and technique for the two Olympic lifts: Snatch and Clean & Jerk.
